We’re looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in property, construction, and retail. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in managing complex construction projects within a retail environment, demonstrating the ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within scope.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end management of new store developments, refurbishments, and strategic business initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Development, you’ll lead cross-functional project teams, manage budgets, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and drive timely project delivery.

Responsibilities:
* Manage end-to-end project management of new store pre-development works, fit outs, franchise refurbishments, and business initiatives.
* Lead project meetings, define scope, timelines, responsibilities, and assess project feasibility and costs.
* Coordinate property surveys with the Acquisitions team and consultants.
* Review developer plans and specifications to ensure standards are met.
* Oversee planning applications and ensure timely submissions and condition discharges.
* Communicate project dates and maintain oversight of timelines.
* Ensure health & safety controls and documentation are in place.
* Attend snagging and completion meetings, ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
* Manage project finances, stakeholder engagement, and budget adherence.
* Manage external stakeholders and departmental resources.
* Deliver Property P&L, managing regional costs.
* Line management within the property team.
Requirements:
* Highly organised with multitasking ability.
* Strong background in property, construction, and retail.
* Leadership, motivational, and mediation skills.
* Proactive and able to work independently.
* Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Negotiation and team management skills.
* Knowledge of health & safety, CDM, building regulations.
* Experience in budget control.
* Qualifications: IOSH Managing Safely, Asbestos Awareness, CDM Competency, Prince 2 or equivalent.
