About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialty Doctor in Old Age Psychiatry to join our team in the picturesque Cotswolds, UK. This is a part-time opportunity, requiring 1.5 days per week, with the specific days negotiable to fit your schedule. The position is ongoing, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality care and management for elderly patients with psychiatric conditions.
* Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized care plans.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for elderly patients.
* Conduct outpatient clinics, consultations, and follow-up appointments.
* Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
* Adhere to clinical guidelines and standards of care to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
* Participate in teaching and training of junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
* Medical degree and full GMC registration.
* Experience in Old Age Psychiatry at the specialty doctor level.
* Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
