Senior Mac Infrastructure Specialist
Salary: £70,929 – £78,810 (or up to £80,000). End date: Thursday 06 November 2025.
Location: Edinburgh or Leeds. Hours: full‑time. Working pattern: hybrid – at least two days per week in one of the office sites, with flexibility around the other office day(s). Platform anchor day is Monday.
About the opportunity: Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) is the UK’s biggest retail, digital and mobile bank with over 30 million customers. The Modern Workplace function drives the Group’s transformation agenda & adoption of cloud‑native capabilities, leading the technical strategy, design and delivery across multiple technology platforms. You will join a team designing, developing and testing modern workplace solutions for the whole of LBG with a macOS focus, helping to reimagine our macOS offering for the bank.
What you’ll do: Design, develop and test modern workplace solutions with a macOS focus; create new features to improve user experience and empower colleagues to self‑service; lead solution implementation through design, build and governance phases; contribute to automation and integration with Microsoft landscape.
Requirements:
* Knowledge of industry device configuration and management technologies such as Intune and JAMF for macOS enterprise management.
* Jamf certifications: required 300, preferred 400.
* Strong experience managing a mac estate of at least 1,000 devices in a large enterprise.
* Experience developing, designing and testing enterprise macOS solutions within a Microsoft landscape (Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Defender suite, Office 365).
* Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, Terraform) for enterprise solutions.
Nice to have:
* Deep understanding of Apple in the enterprise, including iOS and macOS architecture.
* Experience deploying and running cloud‑hosted compute in Microsoft Entra ID, Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform.
* Ability to automate common tasks with pipelines.
