We are looking for an ambitious Graduate to join our growing Geospatial team in Northampton. This role supports a fast-paced property consultancy delivering geospatial services to a range of clients in the property and real estate lifecycle.
The Team — We capture and digitise the natural and built environment with speed and accuracy. Geospatial surveyors collect, visualise and interpret geospatial data to help our clients Consult, Design, Build and Manage their assets and data. The team enables and supports multisource geospatial datasets from sources such as survey data, terrestrial and mobile laser scanning, drones, GIS and BIM-related workflows to support clients’ spatial data needs in Energy, Minerals & Waste, Regeneration, Telecommunications, Utilities, and Transport.
The Role — This is an exciting opportunity to join our team delivering real change to people’s lives. You will work with a range of property clients from local Councils and London Boroughs, Network Rail, DfT, TfL, water companies, telecoms providers, homeowners, farmers, and other stakeholders.
As part of the Geospatial team, you will contribute to the full range of Geospatial support services, including:
* Land and measured building surveys
* Drone surveys
* 3D modelling and visualisation
* Mapping and spatial analysis including site finding projects
* Mapping application development
* Spatial data engineering and integration
* Remote sensing
You will contribute to developing and implementing industry best practices with access to the latest surveying, GIS platforms, and 2D/3D datasets. We encourage innovation, skill growth, and geospatial analysis that supports shaping the world we live in.
We support ongoing professional development including Royal Geographical Society, RICS and we are an approved development partner with the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors.
What will it take to be successful?
Candidates from a variety of backgrounds with a passion for geography and the built environment are welcome. The role supports broad understanding of how Geospatial fits into the property/real estate lifecycle from land registration/mapping to management, development, remediation and reuse.
