A leading infrastructure programme is seeking a motivated Graduate Engineer to support a major civil engineering initiative focused on surveying and improving existing infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within a structured and safety-critical environment.
Your new role
As a Graduate Engineer, you will be responsible for surveying and recording existing drainage and associated infrastructure. Working as part of a wider engineering team, you will support ongoing works aimed at improving resilience and addressing potential points of failure.
This role will involve:Conducting site inspections and surveys of drainage and earthworks assetsRecording and reporting infrastructure condition data accuratelyWorking in line with strict health and safety proceduresSupporting engineers with field-based data collectionShift work including nights and weekends as required
What you'll need to succeed
A degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related disciplineIdeally 1–2 years’ UK experienceFull Manual UK driving licence (must be able to drive a manual vehicle)Strong attention to detail and willingness to work outdoorsFlexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekendsA Personal Track Safety (PTS) card would be advantageous, but is not essential (training can be provided)
