Looking for a placement that combines innovation, sustainability, and commercial insight? This Year in Industry opportunity offers university students a chance to work across both Portfolio Management and the Sourcing Centre of Responsibility at Spirax Sarco. You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting the launch of new products, developing business cases, and creating marketing collateral, while also contributing to supplier sustainability initiatives and product specification updates. You’ll gain exposure to cross‑functional teams including test labs, marketing, and global suppliers to build commercial acumen, technical understanding, and strategic thinking. Ideal for students studying STEM or business degrees, this hybrid role is suitable for those who enjoy problem-solving, collaborating, and thinking creatively.
Responsibilities
* Support the launch of new products and contribute to business case development.
* Create marketing collateral and assist with product specifications updates.
* Contribute to supplier sustainability initiatives and cross‑functional projects with teams such as test labs and marketing.
* Collaborate with global suppliers to build commercial acumen, technical understanding, and strategic thinking.
Qualifications
* Ideal for students studying STEM or business degrees.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
* Currently studying for a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with a requirement to complete a work placement and eligible to work in the UK for the duration of the 12‑month placement (July 2026 – July 2027).

Important eligibility and dates
* Applicants must be taking part in an agreed University placement scheme and have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship, full-time, for the duration of the 12‑month placement (July 2026 until July 2027).

Assessment Centre (on-site in Cheltenham): Tuesday 25th November or Tuesday 2nd December 2025
