Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Occupational Therapists to join our inpatient team based in Morpeth. You will have responsibility for a caseload, primarily initiating interventions that support pro-social occupational routines and interpersonal functioning to aid transition into the community. There will be opportunities to rotate and experience each of the specialisms. The role is to assess occupational needs and initiate interventions that support pro-social occupational routines and aid transition to the next step of the individual\'s pathway. You will work as a core part of the multidisciplinary and occupational therapy teams to provide the following.
Responsibilities
* Comprehensive assessment of occupational needs using both standardised tools and structured clinical observations
* Set collaborative therapeutic goals to support the development of address occupational performance needs
* Undertake 1:1 and group interventions in a variety of environments
* Maintain standards of clinical documentation
* Dependent on experience you may also be expected to supervise others and take students on placement
