Job Description:
MCS Group is supporting a large public sector organisation based in Belfast in recruiting a HR Business Coordinator. The role involves:
1. Supporting the Human Resource Manager(s) in managing and reporting on human resources and employee relations issues in accordance with organisational policies and legislative requirements.
2. Acting as investigating officer for grievances and disciplinary cases, ensuring procedures are followed.
3. Managing human resource records related to recruitment, discipline, sickness absence, overtime, leave, etc., and developing reports for senior management.
4. Monitoring and auditing departmental HR performance data, including attendance and agency work, and participating in absence management, disciplinary, and grievance cases.
5. Assisting in managing sickness absence and ensuring compliance with absence policies.
Person Specification:
Essential qualifications and experience include:
* A 3rd-level qualification in Business Studies, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
* Experience working within a unionised organisation.
* Advice and guidance experience in key HR subjects.
