Currently, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior FF&E Designer to provide expertise in both FF&E Design and Interior Design for numerous prestigious projects. This individual will collaborate closely with our senior team, while also mentoring and supporting our talented junior members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Guide design vision, ensuring alignment with client goals and company values, maintaining design integrity from concept through to execution.
* Initiate and maintain strong client relationships through meetings, presentations, conflict resolution, and consistent communication to understand and fulfil project ambitions.
* Strategize and oversee concepts, selections, materials and layouts, ensuring consistency in design intent across the team.
* Develop technical specification and drawing packages, schedules and issue sheets across all project stages, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
* Oversee on-site project delivery, installation, and dressing to ensure alignment with design intent.
* Provide support to the Project Lead/Design Director during client presentations.
* Lead small teams across all work stages, mentor junior staff, conduct workshops, and manage team resource allocation and project profitability.
* Contribute to strategic planning, including programme creation, invoice tracking, timeline monitoring, and managing contractual changes or delays.
* Attend supplier meetings and workshops.
* Support contract management, monitor project finances, and support compliance with payment schedules and financial reporting.
* Act as a brand ambassador by upholding company values, managing personal responsibilities effectively, and exemplifying professional standards.
REQUIREMENTS
* Successfully delivered 5 - 8 projects covering FF&E Design, ID and Procurement.
* Articulate and refined design ability and style.
* Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, Studio Designer (or similar), hand sketching.
* Breadth of industry knowledge and experience.
* Good knowledge of suppliers and specialist finishes.
* Positive can-do attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Good working knowledge of RIBA Work Stages.
* Understanding of procurement routes, contracts, and business operations.
* Understanding of company-wide issues including resourcing, monthly invoicing, and deliverables.
