They are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team and play a key role in delivering civils packages for schools andmercial buildings.
Your new role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of the financial and contractual management of civils packages on a range of education andmercial projects. You will be responsible for:
1. Managing project costs from inception topletion
2. Preparing and reviewing tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation
3. Conducting cost analysis and value engineering
4. Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure financial efficiency andpliance
5. Overseeing subcontractor procurement and payments
6. Monitoring project progress and preparing detailed reports
7. Supporting junior QS staff and contributing to team development
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
8. A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
9. Proven experience in a similar role within the civils or construction sector
10. Strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts
11. Experience working on education and/ormercial building projects
12. Excellent negotiation,munication, and analytical skills
13. A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving
14. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites as required
