Job Title: Field Care Supervisor
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate, organised, and experienced Field Care Supervisor to support the delivery of high-quality care in the community. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in the field, supporting care staff, and ensuring clients receive safe, person‑centred care.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct client assessments, reviews, and reassessments in line with care plans
* Supervise, support, and mentor care workers in the field
* Carry out spot checks, supervisions, and observations of care staff
* Ensure care delivery meets regulatory, company, and quality standards
* Act as a point of contact for clients, families, and care staff
* Support onboarding, training, and competency assessments of new carers
* Accurately document visits, reports, and follow-up actions
* Respond to concerns, incidents, or changes in client needs promptly
* Take part in on-call duties
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in a supervisory role within health or social care
* Strong knowledge of person‑centred care and safeguarding practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* A caring, professional, and supportive approach to leadership
* Full driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
* Ideally relevant care qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or above) [or equivalent] or working towards
