General Operator Day Shift Only Based BSW Dalbeattie, DG5 4PL Day shift, Monday to Friday, 42.5hrs per week Forming part of our Decorative Coating Department, you’ll play a key role in the creation of a wide range of quality decorative timber products – on time and to specification. Specifically, some responsibilities of a General Operator include: Manual handling of timber. Operating state of the art sawmilling machinery. Working towards set production targets. Upholding the appropriate Health & Safety practices. About you: As a motivated and hardworking individual, you are focused and have keen attention to detail. You understand that quality is important within this role and a degree of flexibility is required to ensure operations are maximised, maintained and quality targets are met with minimum wastage. In addition, you will have: Prior experience within a production, manufacturing, or similar environment in a hands-on role. A committed, motivated and enthusiastic approach. Good organisational skills and attention to detail. An appreciation of quality and Health & Safety. Willingness to undertake all relevant training required to fulfil the role.
