Business Development Executive - NI & UK We are working with a progressive, solutions-focused organisation operating within a technical and project-led sector across Northern Ireland and mainland UK. Due to continued growth, they are seeking to appoint a commercially driven Business Development Executive to support further expansion. This opportunity will suit an ambitious sales professional who enjoys building long-term partnerships, identifying new revenue streams, and working cross-functionally to deliver value-led solutions to customers. The Opportunity Reporting into the commercial leadership team, the successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening the company's presence across multiple territories. The position combines proactive new business generation with strategic account growth, ensuring consistent and sustainable revenue development. This is a field-based role involving regular travel and a structured, target-focused approach to managing customer relationships. Core Responsibilities Develop and implement territory plans to drive new client acquisition Build, manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts Conduct face-to-face and virtual meetings aligned with agreed growth objectives Represent the organisation at trade shows, client briefings and industry forums Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify commercial opportunities Maintain detailed pipeline reporting and activity tracking via CRM systems Liaise closely with internal technical and operational teams to deliver tailored solutions Support continuous enhancement of sales processes and customer engagement practices About You Essential Experience & Skills Background in sales, business development or account management Ability to cultivate and maintain strong professional relationships Confident communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills Well organised, self-motivated and capable of managing a regional territory Proficient in CRM platforms and standard business software Willingness to travel across NI and the wider UK Full, clean UK driving licence Desirable Experience within a technical, industrial or project-based environment Exposure to working alongside engineering or operations teams Understanding of solution-based or consultative sales approaches What's on Offer Attractive base salary of £28,000 - £34,000 with performance-related incentives and progression opportunities Clear progression pathway within a growing organisation Ongoing training and professional development Enhanced annual leave entitlement Pension contribution scheme Health & wellbeing support initiatives Early finish at the end of the working week Skills: Sales Executive Field Sales Account Manager Business Development Engineering Manufacturing Benefits: benefits package expenses
