We offer a salary of £35,412 - £38,220 and access to training and development opportunities. Caerphilly Residential Services are expanding their homes and we need sufficient staff within each home to satisfy Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) requirements.
Responsibilities
* The core purpose of the role is to assist the Registered Manager in providing an emotionally secure, consistent, warm, supportive and caring environment for the young people and to encourage their social, physical, emotional, intellectual and moral development so that they may realise their own potential.
Qualifications
* NVQ 3 Caring for Children and Young People Or NVQ 4 Care, Or Predecessor QCF Diploma Level 3 Health and Social Care Children and Young People.
* At least 2 years experience in a Residential child care setting.
* Full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business / work purposes to travel throughout the borough to undertake home visits, to transport children, young people and parents / carers during the week.
