Job Title: Trainee Legal PA
Salary: £32,000
Location: Central London
An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone looking for a start in the legal sector and would relish being trained up as a legal PA within a law firm with an excellent reputation.
The day to day of the role will involve a broad range of secretarial and administration duties including typing correspondence and creating documents, planning diaries, organising meetings and appointments, liaising with clients, updating spreadsheets etc. You will be mentored and taught procedures and tasks and your role will gradually evolve over time as you become more knowledgeable.
You should possess strong IT and organisational skills, but more importantly a positive and proactive attitude as they are looking to invest in the right person. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a little office experience, or a straight graduate, to take on an administration role and be trained as a legal secretary. This is a springboard for someone sincerely looking to build a career in PA support, it would not be the right move for a paralegal going down the qualification route.
