Learning Support Assistant Location: Nottingham (NG9) Salary: £95 - £100 per day (PAYE) Contract: Long-term with potential to permanent Start Date: September 2025 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (Term-time only) Long Term Futures are currently looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join a well-regarded secondary school in the NG9 area of Nottingham. This Ofsted-rated 'Good' school is known for its inclusive values and strong community feel, creating an environment where every student is supported to succeed. This full-time role begins in September 2025 and will involve working closely with young people aged 11-16, providing support to students with special educational needs. What You'll Be Doing Delivering 1:1 and small group support to students with special educational needs (SEN) Helping students remain focused, engaged and confident in the classroom Promoting positive behaviour and supporting emotional wellbeing Working alongside teachers and SEN staff to implement personalised support strategies Playing an active role in creating a nurturing, supportive learning environment What We're Looking For Experience working with young people with SEN, either in schools or a similar setting A calm, flexible, and empathetic approach to managing behaviour and supporting learning Great communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff A genuine passion for supporting young people to reach their potential What You Can Expect A long-term role with the potential to become permanent Competitive daily pay through PAYE (no umbrella fees) The opportunity to join a positive school environment with a supportive SLT Ongoing support from Long Term Futures throughout your placement Apply Today Interested in making a difference in a young person's life?
