At ISP School, located in the beautiful Glengorse Estate in Battle, East Sussex, we provide specialist education for children aged 7-18 with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH), as well as communication and learning needs. Our mission is to create a safe and supportive environment that inspires learning and encourages achievement.

Contract Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Salary: £28,000 - £39,520
Contract Term: Permanent
Hours: 8.30am - 4.30pm

Your Role and Responsibilities
As an inspirational teacher, you will:
* Teach at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging lessons in Science, Maths, and the wider curriculum.
* Plan, prepare, and present lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of your students.
* Utilize our positive behaviour policy to help children become responsible citizens.
* Motivate students to embrace learning and develop a lifelong love for education.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Have successful teaching experience, particularly with vulnerable children.
* Possess SEN experience, focusing on nurturing children with SEMH and ASC needs.
* Have a solid understanding of the national curriculum, especially in Science and/or Maths.
* Exhibit excellent behaviour management skills and a reflective practice approach.
* Be knowledgeable about therapeutic approaches to education.
* Demonstrate the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
* Provide dynamic and engaging lessons that inspire students.
Additional Information
