A local authority in West Sussex is seeking a Prevention Outreach Officer to start immediately on an initial 3-month contract and this could be you!
What you'll be doing:
Assessing clients at the contingency hotel and obtaining relevant documentation
Facilitating referrals, and supporting move-on plans
Identifying support needs and liaising with partner agencies to meet them
Assisting with resettlement into permanent accommodation
Delivering monthly workshops at the hotel
Benefits:
Hybrid working model: you'll be required to work 2 days per week in the office or at the contingency hotel.

What helps you stand out:
Experience using Home Connections is desirable
Previous experience in homelessness prevention, or resettlement support
Pay rate: £27-£28 per hour, dependent on experience
