Aviation Broker – Insurance & Risk Advisory

Overview:
A specialist aviation insurance and risk advisory firm is seeking an experienced and highly organised Aviation Broker to support its expanding portfolio of aviation clients. This includes aircraft owners, operators, charter businesses, MROs, aviation service providers, and related commercial aviation risks. You will work closely with senior brokers and account managers, ensuring the efficient handling of aviation accounts from placement through to renewal, while delivering exceptional service to clients and market partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as a day-to-day point of contact for aviation clients, insurers, and brokers.
• Manage aviation accounts including renewals, policy administration, endorsements, and mid-term adjustments.
• Prepare market submissions, gather risk information, and support negotiation of terms with underwriters.
• Liaise with aviation underwriters, claims teams, and external stakeholders to ensure all client requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate documentation, policy schedules, and compliance-related records.
• Support claims processes by coordinating information between clients and insurers.
• Produce renewal reports, placement summaries, and supporting documentation for senior brokers.
• Prioritise a varied workload and ensure deadlines are consistently met in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide proactive and knowledgeable client service, maintaining strong professional relationships.
Skills & Experience Required:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in aviation broking, aviation insurance account handling, or a similar aviation-related insurance role.
• Strong understanding of aviation risks (e.g., aircraft hull & liability, aviation products, hangarkeepers, and related aviation coverages).
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with aviation clients and specialist underwriters.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a structured approach to managing accounts.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience using CRM or policy administration systems is an advantage.
