NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. The shift pattern for this post is: 09:00-17:00/15:00-23:00/23:00-07:00.
This is a Fixed term post for: 3 months.
The Security department consist of 19 guards, who assist with bringing support with challenging situations throughout site within wards/ public areas and assist with all opening and lock down procedures. Security are responsible for key handling, activation cards, cctv throughout the hospital.
Candidates must have SIA or equivalent.
Training will be given onsite however previous experience is desirable.

As from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
