We're working with a high-growth startup building the infrastructure powering the next generation of energy systems.
If you're excited by real-world impact, ownership, and solving complex problems at scale — this is one to take a look at.
The Opportunity
This is a product-focused engineering role where you'll be building systems that directly influence how energy is used, stored, and distributed. You'll be working on software that connects to real-world devices, orchestrates them intelligently, and helps optimise energy usage based on cost and sustainability. It's fast-paced, hands-on, and genuinely impactful work.
What You'll Be Doing

* Working across product, data, and infrastructure — not siloed into one lane
* Owning problems end-to-end, from idea through to production
* Collaborating with users, clients, and stakeholders to shape solutions
* Shipping quickly and iterating based on real-world feedback
Tech Environment
* Python-first backend environment
* Cloud-based infrastructure (GCP)
* Containerised systems (Docker)
* Strong collaboration between engineers and data teams
What They're Looking For
* Strong backend engineering experience (Python preferred)
* Someone who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys solving messy, real-world problems
* Product mindset — thinking beyond code to impact
* Comfortable taking ownership and moving quickly
* Interest in climate, energy, or building meaningful technology
