Events Administrator
Salary
£32,890 to £36,052 per annum inclusive, with potential to progress to £38,422 per annum inclusive of London allowance.
Employment
This is a fixed term appointment for 18 months.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Events Administrator to join our team assisting in the delivery of a wide range of public, student, staff and alumni events, within the Department of International Relations.
Key responsibilities:
* Assist the effective and efficient delivery of the IRD Events programme (comprising, but not limited to, public lectures, workshops, seminars, conferences and IRD community events).
* Play a key role in the administration of the IRD’s 100-year anniversary programming.
Qualifications:
* Experience supporting events and working as an effective administrator.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* The ability to plan and prioritise a varied workload.
* The ability to work to deadlines.
* Previous experience working in a research or academic environment is desirable.
