Seasonal Farm Operative - 6 month contract Location: Kent Farms Department: UK Leaf Farming Reporting to: Harvest Supervisor Company: Vitacress Salads Ltd Pay: £12.21 per hour Hours: 40 per week The Role We are looking for Seasonal Farm Operatives to join our UK Leaf Farming team. This role is essential in carrying out harvesting and field operations for outdoor salad and herb crops. Key Responsibilities Hand weed crops prior to harvesting. Apply nets and fleeces as required based on weather conditions. Work on the harvester/trailer during cutting, including crate filling and stacking. Assist with cleaning and general farm maintenance as required. Undertake any other duties as directed by your line manager. Working Conditions Farm-based role, working outdoors in all weather conditions. Physically demanding tasks requiring strength and stamina. What We’re Looking For Experience & Skills: Physically fit and able to undertake manual tasks. A reasonable level of spoken English for Health & Safety communication. Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing priorities. Willingness to work overtime when required. Personal Attributes: Hardworking and honest. Team player with a positive attitude.
