We are seeking an experienced electro mechanical assembly technician to build the Nuclera eProtein DiscoveryTM instrument at our UK headquarters
About the role:
* Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems and components according to process instructions
* Conduct quality inspections to ensure assembled products and incoming parts meet technical and safety standards.
* Run tests and record data onto appropriate Nuclera systems
* Identify and report any design or production issues to engineering and management teams.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to test and validate prototypes.
* Maintain an organized and clean work area, adhering to 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
* Support the reagent manufacturing team with kitting and labelling operations
* Interact with the ERP system to ensure accurate build data.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in the workplace.
Requirements
Essential:
* Proven experience in electro-mechanical assembly or a related field.
* Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
Desirable:
* Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
* Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment.
