Job description
This post involves working with children in a static model, using a thematic approach to engage the children through different strategies such as a multi-sensory offer, TEAACH and Attention Autism. The focus of learning will be on each pupil’s individual EHCP outcomes.
The successful candidates will:
1. Be excellent practitioners with the commitment and motivation to inspire pupils’ learning and development
2. Have a breadth of experience teaching all subjects in a primary model
3. Have high expectations of young people, and a commitment to raising standards of attainment to ensure that they can achieve their full educational potential
4. Have experience of enhancement of pupil progress gains and raising attainment and achievement levels of all pupils
5. Be able to demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation through imaginative and differentiated lessons which meet individual needs
6. Have experience of current assessment practice and the use of data and pupil progress tracking to ensure that all groups of learners achieve
7. Possess the emotional and physical resilience necessary when working with young people with a range of complex needs
8. Be able to build positive relationships with the class group, ensuring consistency and continuity on a daily basis.
9. Have the ability to foster good relationships with other staff, pupils, parents and the wider community
10. Be hard working, organised and proactive in their professional development
