Senior Business Development Manager
Location: Remote (UK based) – 1Spatial HQ in Cambridge, UK
Employment type: Full-Time Permanent
Base Salary: £70,000-£80,000 (100% OTE)

About the role
You will focus on public and private sector clients in the UK & Ireland, building relationships and helping them find innovative geospatial data solutions using our software and professional services. Your main responsibilities include engaging with potential clients, understanding their needs, and guiding them to suitable solutions, collaborating with internal teams to deliver value.
Required skills and experience:
You should demonstrate experience in the following areas:
* Consultative Selling: Ability to understand client needs and challenges, build trust, and offer insights to meet objectives.
* Geospatial Market Insight: Knowledge of geospatial data technology trends, AI applications, and market strategies.
* Subject Matter Expertise: Knowledge of geospatial data, tools, and professional services.
* Client Engagement: Building relationships with stakeholders and acting as a trusted advisor.
* Opportunity Identification: Proactively pursuing new business within your market segment.
* CRM Management: Using Salesforce to manage opportunities and forecast sales.
* Tailored Solutions: Collaborating with teams to customize solutions for clients.
* Proposal Collaboration: Working with teams to create winning proposals and ensure seamless customer experience.
