We offer an exciting opportunity to join our rapidly expanding Accounting Advisory Services (AAS), Treasury team. We serve leading corporate treasuries with complex challenges, providing expertise in financial products, risk management, systems, governance, valuation, and accounting.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and implement treasury strategies, policies, operating models, cash management processes, and systems.
* Conduct risk assessments in areas such as foreign exchange, interest rates, credit, and commodities.
* Perform internal audits on treasury functions across various sectors, including benchmarking.
* Support accounting and regulatory change projects like IFRS 9, UK GAAP, EMIR, and Basel III.
* Deliver treasury advisory projects, including strategy reviews and audit support, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
* Assist in business development activities, including responses to client proposals, focusing on IFRS 9 offerings.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience in an accounting advisory role within professional services or corporate sectors.
* Strong technical knowledge of financial instruments, risk management, treasury strategies, and controls.
* Familiarity with IAS 39 and IFRS 9 standards and their application.
* Business development experience with existing and new clients.
* Professional qualification from a recognized accountancy body.
