Our client, a growing drylining contractor with a strong order book, is looking to add an experienced Drylining Quantity Surveyor to their team. This is a hands-on role for a technically strong candidate with proven experience in drylining, ceilings, and related fit-out works.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and manage estimates, bills of quantities, and tender submissions for drylining and ceiling projects.
* Measure, price, and value variations on-site accurately.
* Produce detailed cost reports and monitor project budgets.
* Liaise directly with clients, subcontractors, and the project team to resolve commercial issues.
* Assist in contract administration, including valuations, interim applications, and final account settlements.
* Support project delivery through proactive risk and cost management.
Requirements
* Proven Quantity Surveyor experience within drylining and ceilings, preferably from a Trade Drylining Contractor, main contractor or fit-out company.
* Strong knowledge of construction measurement, pricing, and commercial procedures.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying (not essential if strong experience).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other industry-standard software.
