I'm currently working with a client who has an exciting opportunity that has opened up for experienced Support Engineer to join a well-established and growing IT team. In this role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues across a range of applications and systems, while delivering outstanding customer service and technical support to clients. This is a hands-on position requiring solid experience in desktop support and a wide understanding of IT systems and technologies. You’ll also work closely with internal teams to escalate complex issues and ensure that client needs are met efficiently and professionally. What You’ll Be Doing: Handling day-to-day customer support and resolving IT helpdesk tickets quickly and efficiently. Managing and delivering customer IT projects on time and to a high standard. Onboarding new customers and ensuring a smooth transition into our systems. Proposing solutions for new customer developments. Supporting the training and development of support team members. Ideal Experience Windows Servers (up to 2022), Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, RDS, etc. Virtualisation (Hyper-V / ESXi), networking (VLANs, VPNs, Firewalls), and Office 365. Disaster recovery tools (Veeam, Backup Exec, etc.), RMM systems, and spam filtering. Knowledge of wireless tech (Ubiquiti, Draytek, Meraki), SIP phone systems, and system deployments (WDS). Experience with 2FA tech, firewalls (FortiNet), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) a bonus. What You Bring: Passion for tech and customer service. An adaptable, efficient, and responsible mindset.
