Job Description
Mission:
To create and modify in line with Engineering Change Request's (PCR/PCE) drafting, design support, document control, or similar engineering supported activities. To prepare new or modified designs and drawings and ensure documentation packages are complete and distributed accurately within the specified timescale.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Maintain Engineering records on existing products and introduce new variants of existing products. Organize and plan the introduction of new products within scope in line with Design Team requirements.
* Support Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, Operations and Quality on the processing of new enquiries; continuous improvement programmes and cost reduction opportunities.
* Maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders (internal) such as Sales, Marketing, Operations, Purchasing and Quality.
* Maintain part and project number assignments, updating and reproducing drawings and customer documentation.
* Assist as required on Legislative activities such as RoHS and Reach. Assemble Bill of Materials (boms) for Environmental Data uploads and execute plans to ensure compliance on the products as requested.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Technical University Degree or equivalent experience
* 2d & 3D CAD (Solidedge)
* Hands-on experience with CAD
* Hands-on experience with Adobe Pro, InDesign and Coral draw/Illustrator.
