To support our team based in Stafford, UK, we are currently looking for a Repair & Calibration Technician UK (f/m/x).
What's it all about?
* You will perform diagnostics, repairs, calibrations, and upgrades on OMICRON test equipment according to internal procedures and quality standards.
* You will maintain accurate records of repairs, replacements, and calibrations for ISO and internal compliance.
* You will participate in continuous training programs to keep up with product developments and testing technologies.
* You will ensure that the service area is organized, clean, and meets ESD safety requirements.
* You will handle device inbound and outbound logistics.
* You will manage spare parts inventory.
What are we looking for?
* You have an A Level 3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician / Metrology Technician Apprenticeship or a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, or a comparable education.
* You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in service, repair, or calibration of electronic or electrical equipment (preferably in a high-precision or test equipment environment).
* You bring a good understanding of analog/digital electronics, test methodologies, and measurement principles.
* You are proficient with diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
* You enjoy working independently and in a team-oriented environment.
* You are willing and able to travel internationally for training and occasional support activities.
* You have excellent English language skills.
