Key Account Director
National Role | Field Based
We’re looking for an experienced Key Account Director to lead a portfolio of National Builders Merchant accounts that represent a significant share of business turnover.
This is a senior, high-impact role with real influence — suited to someone who thrives in complex, commercially demanding environments and is comfortable operating at senior stakeholder level.
What you’ll be doing
* Owning and growing strategic national merchant accounts
* Building long-term partnerships and increasing share of wallet
* Delivering against national sales targets
* Managing commercial terms, rebates, and spend
* Acting as the primary interface between key customers and internal teams
* Ensuring national strategies are executed through regional sales teams
* Leading and developing merchant sales representation
* Maintaining strong CRM discipline, forecasting, and reporting
What we’re looking for
* Senior Key Account / National Account experience
* Proven track record with National Builders Merchants
* Strong commercial capability (pricing, rebates, budgets, forecasts)
* Experience managing strategic partnerships, not just transactional accounts
* Confident communicator with credibility at senior customer level
