Job Overview
ZenaTech, Inc. is hiring an Accountant responsible for maintaining and analyzing an organization’s financial records. They will handle essential accounting functions, such as preparing financial statements, managing budgets, reconciling accounts, and assisting the CFO with financial reporting needs. They will ensure consistency of financial records across our platform companies, accuracy, compliance with regulations, and support in the decision‑making processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee monthly bookkeeping for multiple companies using Quickbooks and other accounting software’s
* Oversee the creation and maintenance of accurate customer and vendor records within the accounting system.
* Oversee bank/credit card reconciliations, AP, AR, and payroll entries.
* Approve vendor invoices for payment and/or processing payments.
* Drive month‑end close activities, review monthly financial reports for accuracy and tax readiness, general ledger reconciliations — and intercompany reconciliations.
* Keep company records, SOPs, and internal notes up to date.
* Assist the CFO and the finance team with audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audits.
* Act as a liaison between acquired companies and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution.
* Other responsibilities within the Accounting and Finance Team.
Qualifications
* Having minimum 7‑10 years of experience in bookkeeping, finance, and accounting roles.
* Thorough understanding of IFRS and internal control and regulatory compliance.
* Experience with UK tax compliance, including corporate, payroll, and sales tax requirements.
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience directly related to the position.
