We’re recruiting a Graphic Designer to support the creation of high‑quality, on‑brand design across digital and print. Walker Morris is a firm that refuses to follow the expected path, and our Creative team plays a central role in redefining what communications from a law firm can (and should) look like. With the business growing at pace, we are expanding the Marketing & Business Development team, and this is an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join us to help shape the future of the Walker Morris brand. Reporting to our Creative Lead, you’ll be supported to develop your skills, explore new techniques, and bring your design perspective to a wide range of creative challenges. Day‑to‑day, you’ll turn briefs into creative assets and collaborate with our Creative Lead and wider Marketing & Business Development team, helping us deliver consistent, engaging communications for internal and external audiences. You’ll also play a key role in supporting the rollout of our refreshed brand identity, contributing to varied and purposeful projects that underpin our ambitious growth strategy. Throughout the year, you’ll contribute to bold marketing campaigns on themes such as AI, technology and digital transformation, and cybersecurity, developing engaging B2B content for our clients while collaborating with internal stakeholders on projects that bring our culture and values to life. If you’re looking for a role that blends creativity with a wide variety of design collateral and campaigns, this is the job for you. We’re committed to helping you grow, with access to internal and external training to advance your skills, and the support of a team that values curiosity, collaboration, and fresh thinking. As the Graphic Designer, you will: Produce impactful graphics and branded materials both for print and digital including brochures, leaflets, adverts, events materials, social media content, website graphics, other internal assets etc. Work from established brand guidelines, applying typography, layout, and visual hierarchy to create clean, coherent designs. Interpret briefs and translate key messages into clear visual concepts, iterating based on feedback. Proof and artwork your deliverables carefully, with guidance and feedback available to help you develop confidence in copy accuracy, layout, image quality, and accessibility checks. Assist the Creative Lead in producing print‑ready artwork. Manage your day ‑ to ‑ day workload using our existing project management tools, and keep the Creative Lead updated on progress, timelines, and any support you may need. Provide ad‑hoc presentation design support (mainly PowerPoint), applying brand styles and simple visual storytelling. Use our MARQ templating platform to produce straightforward, on‑brand materials and help our non‑design teams' self‑serve where appropriate (no system administration required). Organise files and assets in-line with the existing system so work is easy to find, reuse, and update. Support occasional video and motion tasks (e.g., simple edits/titles in Premiere/After Effects) — training provided. We are looking for: Formal training and professional qualification in Graphic Design. 1–3 years’ experience in an agency or in‑house design role producing both digital and print assets. A portfolio that shows strong visual judgement, clear layout and typography, and polished execution across a variety of channels. Confident use of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office (Word and PowerPoint) for day‑to‑day production. Ability to follow brand guidelines and maintain consistency without heavy oversight. Comfortable managing your time across multiple projects, with regular check‑ins to keep the Creative Lead updated on priorities and progress. Clear, friendly communication and a collaborative mindset. Nice to Have (Great but not essential) Basic motion design or editing in After Effects / Premiere (we’ll support skills growth). Awareness of accessible design principles (contrast, legibility, layout for readability). Experience collaborating with colleagues outside the creative team to understand requirements and deliver effective design work on time. Some of our benefits include: Salary reflective of your experience. Earn up to 10% of your salary with our annual bonus scheme. Minimum of 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays per year increasing to 31 days with length of service, with the opportunity to buy/sell up to 5 days holiday per year. Auto enrolled into the workplace pension scheme, and we'll contribute a minimum of 6% of your salary. 4x your annual salary in the event of a death in service.
