This is a hands-on, outdoor role perfect for someone confident operating FLT and communicating with drivers in a fast-paced environment.
The Role: As an FLT Driver, you’ll be working at the front end of site operations, helping to manage incoming materials and keep the yard running efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include: Operating a Forklift Truck (FLT) to move and organize materials Managing the arrival of lorries on site Directing drivers to correct unloading/tipping areas Ensuring safe and efficient traffic flow within the yard Carrying out basic load checks and reporting issues Supporting general yard and site duties Working Hours Monday to Friday Night shift : 5pm-4am Full-time, consistent hours Pay & Benefits: £13.60 per hour Weekly pay Full-time ongoing work Supportive team environment Overtime Available Bonus paid when working a full week weekend shift Requirements: Strong FLT experience (telehandler, reach, or similar) Experience with clamp attachments (preferred) Confident working in a busy outdoor environment Good communication skills when dealing with drivers Reliable and safety-conscious Licence does NOT need to be in date
