Policy Officer - Inspection and Privatisation
To undertake work on policy issues within the Department, enabling it to carry out its work effectively to advance the Union’s mission to shape the future of education; to raise the status of education professionals; and hold the Government to account.
To undertake work on policy issues in relation to the privatisation and commercialisation of education; comprehensive education; and school inspection and school improvement in England and Wales.
Under the direction of the Senior Policy Manager, to provide policy expertise about school inspection; and the Union’s policy on school improvement; to support other teams within the organisation as appropriate.
