Your Responsibilities
As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our surgical instruments and equipment. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
* Receiving and Sorting: Clean and decontaminate soiled reusable instruments and materials according to manufacturer’s instructions.
* Record Keeping: Manually log items and materials received in department logs.
* Equipment Operation: Load, operate, and empty cleaning and decontamination equipment, including automatic washers and sterilizers.
* Inspection and Preparation: Inspect, prepare, and sterilize surgical instruments and materials.
* Assembly: Assemble trays and packets of instruments and medical supplies for surgical procedures.
* Monitoring: Program sterilizers and monitor critical readings during the run cycle.
* Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned to support the team.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Certification in Sterile/Central Processing.
* A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
* At least 1 year of experience in Sterile Processing (preferred).
* Strong knowledge of instrumentation and power surgical instruments.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving abilities.
* The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing assignments based on department needs.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
