Role Overview
Working with the Digital Trading Lead to ensure commercial targets are met, for sales, GPV and EBIT. Executing a trading and on site merchandising plan in line with the fascia strategy which drives conversion and ATV.
Responsibilities
* Review the website content & customer journey to ensure relevancy across all devices
* Constantly review the navigation and structure of all channels looking for ways to improve conversion rates.
* Review the seasons trading, looking for opportunities to drive sales, through new brands and ranges.
* Regular website walk-throughs across all devices.
* Continually review merchandising of onsite searches, navigation and listing pages, implementing actions to maximise trade
* Monitor Sales to identify fast sellers and act as required to maximise sales
* Drive best practices in on site visual merchandising to create logical and inspiring shopping experience.
* Ensure site is updated for retail stores
* Be aware of what competitors are doing, looking for new trends and developments.
* Testing & tracking promotional mechanics.
* Review previous week’s performance and propose and agree actions for the week.
* Review daily sales identifying areas of weakness, proposing, and taking action to increase sales and ensuring optimal stock availability at all times.
* Tracking, reporting and recommending solutions for slow sellers.
* Suggesting markdown and promotional events in line with brand strategy and tracking performance and reporting on successes and missed opportunities.
* Working with commercial team to drive order fulfilment from Digital warehouses.
* Working with digital performance teams to ensure campaigns are consistent and successful.
* Work with Marketing to support 3rd party brand campaign execution.
* Manage the key website metrics across each financial period to ensure all targets are met.
* Support and share learnings with wider team.
* Work closely with all teams across Digital Marketing, CRM, Content, Social and Copywriting.
* Create strong relationships with Marketing function.

Skills and Experience
* Experience working with within a Trading function.
* Confident working with datasets and various reporting tools (eg Excel, Power Bi, Google
* A working understanding of other areas of an ecommerce business including Merchandising, Content, and performance marketing.
* Self-motivated, able to deliver work to a high standard within a deadline.
* Good organisation and time-management skills.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills and good team player.
* Profit & loss Understanding.
* Launch Management.
* Experience on core reporting tools (Power BI, GA, Grafana).
* Wider market knowledge (key Periods, Competitors).
* Good excel & PowerPoint skills.
