What You'll Be Doing
* Providing high-quality daily care and support to children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Difficulties.
* Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour with patience and professional techniques.
* Assisting with educational goals, life skills, and community outings.
* Maintaining detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports.
* Collaborating with social workers, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
Must-Have Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
* Experience: A minimum of 6 months of direct experience working within a Children's Residential Home setting.
* Legal Status: You must have the Right to Work in the UK (we are unable to provide sponsorship at this time).
* Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective handover and reporting.
* Resilience: Experience supporting young people with EBD and complex needs.
Highly Desirable
* An Enhanced DBS (Children & Adults) currently registered on the Update Service.
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
* A full UK Driving License.
