Role Summary – What You’ll Do - Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant
As a Maths Graduate TA, you’ll play an integral role in raising attainment and promoting engagement across Key Stages 3 and 4. Your role will include:
* Providing 1:1 support and small group intervention in Maths lessons
* Encouraging problem-solving, independent thinking, and resilience in students
* Collaborating with teachers to differentiate content and scaffold learning
* Supporting pupils with varying levels of confidence and ability
* Assisting in exam preparation, homework clubs or numeracy boosters
* Gaining firsthand classroom experience that aligns with teacher training goals

This position is ideal for graduates who: Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant
* Have a 2:1 or First-Class degree in Maths or a related subject (Engineering, Economics, Physics, etc.)
* Are passionate about helping young people succeed academically
* Possess excellent communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
* Are considering teaching, educational psychology, or similar careers
* Have some experience with young people (mentoring, tutoring, youth work preferred but not essential)
