Overview
The Best Connection is currently recruiting for Assemblers / Machine Factory Operatives to join our client's well-established manufacturing team based in Gillingham. This is an excellent opportunity for ongoing, full-time work with full training provided.
Shift and Pay
Shift:
* Monday to Thursday - 07:30-15:30 / Friday - 07:30-14:30
Pay: £12.21 per hour.
* Overtime available and paid at enhanced rates:
1. Time and a half after 37 hours
2. Saturdays paid at time and a half
3. Sundays paid at double time
Key Responsibilities
* Assembling small components for diesel pumps
* Quality checking and packing parts
* Operating and loading machines (training provided)
* Working with oils and diesel in certain departments (PPE provided)
Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience in assembly, machine operation, or factory work is preferred but not essential
* Comfortable working in a noisy, fast-paced environment
* Reliable, punctual, and keen to learn new skills
