Our client is a well established precision engineering business supplying high quality machined components to a range of industries including automotive, aerospace and industrial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a reliable and hands on Van Driver Labourer to support both logistics and workshop operations.
This is a varied role combining driving responsibilities with practical support across the business.
The Role
* Delivering and collecting components to and from customers and suppliers
* Loading and unloading vehicles safely and securely
* Supporting goods in and despatch activities
* Assisting in the workshop with general labouring duties
* Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of work areas
* Supporting the production team when required
* Ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and professionally
You will be representing the company when out on the road, so a professional attitude and good communication skills are essential.
Requirements
* Full UK driving licence
* Must be over 25 years old due to insurance policy requirements
* No more than 6 points on licence
* Previous experience in a driving or labouring role desirable
* Good level of physical fitnessReliable, punctual and hardworking
* Flexible attitude with willingness to support different areas of the business
* Basic understanding of health and safety
