Looking for a Transport First Line Manager to work in a consumer and connivence site based in Northampton

* Take the Lead: Oversee our daily transport operations, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries to our customers
* Innovate & Optimise: Develop and implement transport strategies that enhance efficiency and drive success. Your ideas will help us stay ahead of the curve!
* Ensure Safety: Uphold the highest safety standards and compliance regulations, creating a safe and secure workplace for everyone.
* Team Builder: Develop, engage and inspire your team, creating an environment where every colleague can do their best
* Analyse & Improve: Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement. Your analytical skills will help us deliver excellence every day!
✅WHAT YOU'LL BRING
* Can lead from the front, winning hearts and minds and providing coaching and mentorship
* Hold an International CPC Qualification (essential)
* Conduct performance reviews, absence management, and disciplinaries where required.
* Aren't afraid to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in when needed
* Proven people management experience within transport — ideally managing large driver fleets.
* Competent user of transport and logistics software systems.
* Operational experience in Consumer, FMCG, or Convenience retail supply chains desirable
* Able to manage up-to 20 direct reports
