Role Overview
We are looking for a sharp, inquisitive Digital Experience & Usability Analyst to join our team and help ensure our software products are intuitive, reliable, and genuinely enjoyable to use.
This role is firmly rooted in user experience and usability testing. You will be responsible for assessing whether our products work as users expect them to, whether they are clear and logical, and whether the overall flow makes sense from a real-world perspective.
You’ll be testing a wide range of web-based SaaS products, both existing platforms and new products under development, primarily within the e-commerce and logistics space. You do not need to be a developer, and this role does not involve writing or reviewing code.
The position will be office-based initially during a period of orientation and training, moving to a hybrid working structure, with an expectation of three days a week on site.
Key Responsibilities
What You’ll Be Doing
* Testing web-based software from a user experience and usability perspective.
* Identifying issues where functionality, clarity, or flow breaks down.
* Verifying that features behave as expected, according to specification and are easy to understand without explanation.
* Reviewing new features and products before release, acting as the voice of the end user.
* Providing clear, structured, and if applicable, actionable feedback to product and development teams.
* Helping to shape usability standards across current and future products.
* Identifying inconsistencies, edge cases, and confusing user journeys others may overlook.
What We’re Looking For
* A strong eye for detail and a natural ability to think critically about how users interact with software.
* The confidence to question whether something truly makes sense, not just whether it technically works.
* An understanding of good user experience principles, potentially gained informally.
* The ability to clearly explain problems and suggest improvements in plain, practical terms.
* A methodical, organised approach to testing and documenting findings.
* Experience using web-based platforms, particularly within SaaS environments.
Nice to Have (But Not Essential)
* Experience with automated front-end testing from a usability or UI perspective.
* The confidence to take ownership of automated testing approaches if you have prior experience.
* Exposure to e-commerce or logistics systems.
* Experience using Microsoft Teams, Outlook and Atlassian Jira (or other Kanban board software).
(Please note: automated testing experience is a bonus, not a requirement, and no specific tools or technologies are expected.)
What We Offer
* Opportunity to work on market-leading WMS platforms used globally.
* The chance to influence how real users experience our products.
* A role that values judgement, common sense, and user empathy.
* Exposure to multiple products across different stages of development.
* A collaborative, office-based working environment with hybrid working opportunities.
* This a full-time, hybrid (3 days minimum on site) position.
* Salary (DOE)
