St Paul’s Catholic College is one of the most successful schools in the country and our GCSE and A level results are consistently in the top 10% nationally. We were again judged as outstanding in January 2024. We are seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Administration Officer. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of key administrative functions within the college. You will have direct responsibility for overseeing the reception area and line managing the Reception Team. A significant part of your role will involve supporting the finance teams of St Paul’s Catholic College and St Paul’s Trading with finance-related administrative tasks and processes. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the reception area and line manage the Reception Team.
* Support the finance teams of St Paul’s Catholic College and St Paul’s Trading with finance-related administrative tasks and processes.
Qualifications and attributes
* Experience of a senior administrative role or similar (desirable).
* Experience of working within a school environment is desirable.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Able to manage several projects at once, prioritising accordingly to meet deadlines.
* Able to take ownership of tasks and work with minimal supervision.
* Strong IT, systems, administrative and organisational skills.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* A team player that can work collaboratively as well as using own initiative.
* Calm and professional under pressure.
* Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and discretion.
