Overview
We are looking for a Health Care Assistant (HCA) to join our friendly, multi-disciplinary team in our Gynaecology Ambulatory Unit and work collaboratively to provide a seamless service & high-quality care to patients.
Working closely with our nursing team, you will be involved in direct care to meet the needs of the patients in line with our values – excellent, compassionate and respectful – and uphold the outpatient philosophy.

Responsibilities
* Prioritising service delivery within the outpatient setting, acknowledging the impact of the decision on other departments
* Having knowledge of, and act within current Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust Policies and Guidelines
* Being aware of personal responsibilities regarding risk management procedures g. fire, health, and safety
* Promoting a positive departmental image by showing a professional and helpful approach to all visitors to the hospital
* Working with the registered nurse to manage patient care timely and in order of priority depending on the patients’ clinical
