New Directions Education are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teachers to work across a range of primary schools in the Monmouth area.
We have opportunities available for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are keen to develop their classroom experience within supportive and welcoming school environments. Whether you’re seeking short-term supply, long-term placements or permanent opportunities, we can help you find a position that suits your skills, experience, and availability.
Responsibilities include:
1. Delivering engaging and inclusive lessons across the Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2.
2. Planning, preparing and assessing pupils’ learning in line with the national curriculum.
3. Managing classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment.
4. Working collaboratively with staff, parents and carers to support pupil progress and wellbeing.
What you’ll need to succeed:
5. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
6. Experience teaching within primary settings.
7. Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
8. A genuine passion for teaching and making a difference in children’s education.
9. A valid Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one through New Directions).
