Are you an experienced CQC Registered Manager in the learning disabilities sector looking for a new challenge? Our client is a national provider of residential learning disabilities services and is seeking an experienced CQC Registered Manager to lead a 13 bed residential service located in a residential area of Nottingham. It is a large property on an attractive street and within easy walking distance of public transport to access many local amenities. Responsibilities include: * Recruiting and inducting Support Workers * Managing the service effectively inline with CQC standards * Set up and review care packages and work with support staff to provide the best possible service * Supervising and supporting your teams * Attending regular meetings with your clients, CCG contacts, peers and management * Rota planning * Carrying out risk assessments * Delivering training to team members * Incident management, investigations, disciplinaries and grievances * Providing regular reports and updates Required Experience: * Level 5 NVQ or working towards * Confident with MCA and DOLs * Expertise and knowledge of working within the care sector * The ability to carry out assessments and devise care plans and risk assessments * The ability to carry out and document risk assessments * Experience of managing Support Workers * Excellent communication skills * The ability to organise a busy workload and prioritise effectively * A working knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance within the care industry * A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle * Experience dealing with complex behaviours
