Talent Acquisition Specialist – Part-Time
Location: Hitchin / Bedford
Salary: £21,500 (pro rata, 30 hours per week) + Commission (£150–£185 per successful hire)
Expected 4 hires per month on average.
Hours: 30 hours per week, flexible
Contract: Permanent, Part-Time

We are now looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Head Office team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in helping us recruit, retain, and support amazing staff who make a difference to children's lives every day.
The Role
Reporting to the Directors/Responsible Individual, you'll provide a proactive, results-driven recruitment service across all our homes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing job adverts and recruitment budget
* Screening applications and conducting pre-telephone interviews
* Organising and assisting with interviews
* Processing references and supporting onboarding
* Recruiting residential staff and management roles
* Building strong relationships with applicants and managers
* Analysing recruitment platform performance
* Leading monthly recruitment meetings and presentations
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
* Warm, welcoming, and people-focused
* Highly motivated, resilient, and able to work independently
* Skilled in administration, organisation, and IT (MS Office, recruitment systems)
* Experienced in recruitment and/or administration (essential)
* Experience in social care recruitment is advantageous
You will also need:
* GCSE English (or equivalent)
* Excellent written communication skills
* The ability to work to deadlines
* To undergo an Enhanced DBS check
