What your typical day will look like
Your focus is to provide an exceptional service to our clients and the best care possible to their pets, acting as a link between clients and the clinical team. Building strong relationships with clients, their pets, and the practice team is essential for your success.
During each client visit, your great service will ensure their satisfaction and that they leave knowing they received exceptional care, looking forward to their next visit.
You will greet clients, offer support, guidance, and expertise, manage payments and bookings confidently. The role involves coordinating the practice’s daily routines using our online booking system, so computer literacy is essential.
Working hours
This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week with the following shifts:
1. One week of 9 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday
2. One week of 11:30 am - 7:30 pm
3. One in three weekends, with a day off the following week

* You are the friendly and welcoming face for clients and their pets upon arrival.
* You stay fully informed about practice services and additional offerings to guide clients effectively.
* You remain calm, attentive, and focused on clients’ needs.
* You bring enthusiasm and passion for service, matched with a love of pets.
* You can handle various situations, from comforting distressed clients to celebrating pet milestones.
* Your personality fosters a welcoming, friendly atmosphere within the practice.
Ideally, you will have some previous experience in a receptionist role, preferably in a veterinary setting.
